‍This is my ANZAC day poem.My key word is REMEMBER.

Red on the poppy is for the blood of the brave soldiers who died in the war.

Every woman, girl, lady and mother had to stay behind.

Many people died in the war. both wars.

Early in the morning people get up ready for the dawn parade.

Mothers and children were very scared.

Boys, brothers, dads and men had to leave.

Every man fought in the war. Running were some people shooting were soldiers.

Hi just some facts about Fossils.

Fossils are made when a plant or an animal has been coverd by dirt or snow.

Turtles
4 little eggs,
buried deep in the sand'
tap,tap,tap crack,
all the little sea turtles digging their way out.
Scuttling across the sand,
hurring, hurring trying not to be seen...
Snap,snap,snap! BURP!
A crocodile ate three turtles.
The very last makes it to the3 water,
2 years later that very turtle gose to the beach she was born on,
laying eggs of her own.

Dolphins are very intelligent and they seem to be well loved by us. These mammals have been able to interest us in a lot of ways. They are curious, and have strong bonds with their pod, and they have been known to help humans in a lot of ways including rescues and with fishing. There are 36 different species of dolphins. 32 of them are marine dolphins which are the ones that we are the most aware of and 4 of them are river dolphins. They are very entertaining because of the leaps that they make out of the water. Some of them leap up to 30 feet in the air. They have to come to the surface for water at different times to get air. This can be 20 seconds to 30 minutes before they get air. The body of the dolphin is a greyish blue and the skin is very sensitive to human skin and to other elements that could be in the water. Even though dolphins have 100 teeth, they don’t use them for eating. They do use them to get the fish, then they swallow them. They can eat up to 30 pounds of fish per day. They usually work as a team in their pod to get the school of fish surrounded. From there, they can swim through the middle and eat plenty of food. They take turns doing this so that they all participated to get the fish. This is just one of the many different types of feeding strategies that they take part in. They do what is necessary to get the food for the pod members. It can include jumps, zig zag patterns, circles, and a combination of efforts to get the job done
